Split 2 in Season 29 brings plenty of changes in Apex Legends, with both weapons and legends being at the receiving end. Some of them have been buffed, but there are also candidates who have received nerfs.

If you care heavily about the meta, let’s look at some of the best options to use after the mid-season refresh.

Best legends to use in Apex Legends Season 29 Split 2

The table below has four strong recommendations for the post-Split 2 gameplay.

Loba and Valkyrie show off the new Aura cosmetic, which works almost like a large halo behind a character.

BallisticI was confused whether I should mention him. After all, he has received few nerfs in certain areas. However, few of the changes will benefit anyone who uses him. Overheat now applies to just one weapon, giving you full freedom over the other. You can now mitigate the nerf of Overheat by simply switching the gun.
He can also offer Sprint Boost to every ally within a range after activating his Ultimate.
ValkyrieShe’s the only name on this list who has not been buffed. She has lost her ability to land faster with her skydives. However, she remains one of the strongest characters in the meta.
PathfinderRespawn finally seems to have grown warm towards Pathfinder by handing him a buff. His grapple can be used more consistently, and you need to wait less to activate his Ultimate. The combined abilities allow him to move quicker than before.
His Landing Gear will help you while chasing enemies or escaping from them since you can have better control in the air and take less damage from bad landings.
VantageSince Vantage has neither been nerfed or buffed, she remains a strong choice in the meta. Her core gameplay remains strong with emphasis on dominating the early game. You can also use the Horizon’s passive to aid in her movement.

Best weapons to use in Apex Legends Season 29 Split 2

I have three strong recommendations for you to use in after the mid-season update.

MastiffWe have a new Hop-Up in the form of the Executioner, and it fits perfectly with the Mastiff. The weapon can regenerate 50 Shields if you manage to knock someone. With high base damage, gettiing a knockdown isn’t an issue. You can now regain your shields while being aggro against the enemy.
FlatlineThe Flatline is now stronger post addition of the Graffiti mod. The mod improves the handling, ammo capacity, and recoil.
I always loved using the Flatline, and it has now become better thanks to the mod.
NemesisThe Nemesis was already great, and the addition of Turbocharger improves it. You can charge the gun up in just two bursts, and make it easier to get quickdowns.

If you would rather not stick to my suggestions, going through the patch notes will help you figure out all the changes made to the game as part of Split 2.
