Thanks to his ability to deal heavy hits and get more dangerous by tanking damage, Bull can be considered a great alternative for those who enjoy diving in and getting close and personal in Brawl Stars.
However, as that also makes him an easy target in most engagements, picking even a single subpar piece of gear can be fatal. So you can avoid that and charge your way to victory, here’s the best Bull build in Brawl Stars.

The best Gear for Bull in Brawl Stars

As Bull finds himself with low HP more often than not, we will be starting our build with a Damage gear piece, which offers him a 15% DMG boost when under 50% HP. We will then follow that up with the Super Charge, given its ability to boost the availability of his Bulldozer Super by 10%. The latter is huge, as it works in tandem with his ability to gain Super meter per damage received and allows you to have Bulldozer at hand at quick intervals.
What is the best Star Power and Gadget combination for Bull?
Like with most tanks, we consider the T-Bone Injector to be the best Gadget for Bull, as its immediate HP regen can guarantee your survival after charging in or while making an emergency escape. Although both of his Star Powers can be great fits, we are going to pair the above with Tough Guy for its always-welcome shield. If you are not familiar with them, here’s an overview of both our Star Power and Gadget of choice:
- T-Bone Injector: Allows Bull to instantly regenerate up to 2,000 health (12-second cooldown).
- Tough Guy: When Bull’s health falls below 40%, he gains a shield that reduces all damage received by 30%.
If paired with a competent healer or if you are sure you can survive without it, using Stomped in place of the Injector can also work well for Bull and will allow you to stun enemies after performing his charge for guaranteed solo and team kills. Keep in mind, though, the gadget has a long cooldown of 14 seconds.
How to play Bull in Brawl Stars
Unlike many might think, piloting Bull does require what I like to call calculated aggression, as ideally, you want to combo his Super into a series of up to two close-up shots before charging again. Since you won’t have his charge available from the get-go, make sure to use bushes to conceal your presence until the time to lead the attack. As his damage also takes a huge hit when at mid-range, don’t hesitate to also use the environment and your teammates to lock targets in place.

The best modes for Bull
Although his high damage and survivability via the effects of T-Bone Injector, Tough Guy, and his Jaws of Steel Hypercharge —which lowers the damage received by him while charging by 80% and boosts his speed and DMG by 25 and 5%— makes Bull a great pick for most modes, his ability to set up team-wide eliminations and bring down all obstacles on your way make him a perfect fit for both Heist and Brawl Ball.
