Battlefield 4 was shown off at Microsoft’s E3 press conference today, in full 60 frames per second goodness. The live demo opened up inside a battleship with some of the best shadow and lighting effects I have ever seen. The ship then ripped in half while the player was still inside of it, rivaling the set pieces seen in Uncharted.

The action moved to the partially sunken half of the ship, and then into the sea where the player had to swim to a boat to take the fight on the sea. Battlefield is known for having dynamic battles where you can be on land, sea, or air in a moment’s notice, but DICE seems to be taking this to the next level in Battlefield 4.

DICE also announced that the first map pack, Second Assault, would be coming to Xbox One first before anywhere else.
