Battlefield 1943 sells one million on XBLA wicked fast

EA DICE’s exquisite Battlefield 1943, a modern trendsetter for bite-sized games design (RE: Breach), has reached the one million sales mark on Xbox LIVE Arcade. In the process, it has earned the honor of becoming, apparently, the “fastest” game to do so in the history of the service, proving once and for all that tanks, planes, and crap weapons are big winners among the downloadable crowd.

Lord knows how many copies this game has sold to date on the three platforms it’s currently available over (at least a million and one), but we’ll go ahead and guess that it’s been selling pretty good, too. Mad props, EA DICE … Now give us some downloadable content, already.
