Kee-kooh-kaah-keeh-kiiih! [Transforming sound…]

Sharing a name with this year’s upcoming blockbuster movie, Activision’s Transformers: Rise of the Fallen has been announced to day for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PCs. In this game you’ll be put into the big metal shoes of both Autobots and Decepticons as you traverse around the globe on misssions. You’ll be able to change from robots to vehicles on the fly, and for the first time a multiplayer mode has been included for online battling.

The previously mentioned versions are currently in the works by developer Luxoflux. Krome Studios is bringing out both Wii and PS2 versions, both set to be 3rd person action titles. Vicarious Visisons has a DS version in the works, and Savage Entertainment is working on a PSP game.

A trailer is supposed to be released today. We’ll have that for you as soon as it’s available.

[It’s barely related, but I love the above video. Enjoy.]
