Ubisoft’s worst-kept secret was just confirmed at Microsoft’s E3 presser and [extremely Simpsons voice] Assassin’s Creed is indeed going to Egypt with Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which features “RPG”-like additions to Ubisoft’s worn open-world format. “Level up!” Ah, yes, leveling. Innovative!

The first trailer included gladiatorial combat, arrows shot off horseback, and fighting crocodiles while swimming. There’s more mystic stuff, too, including a giant snake or basilisk-looking thing. There’s also a hawk straight out of Far Cry: Primal (or a drone from a more modern Ubisoft game) and a loot system.

Set in “the birthplace of modern civilization…and the assassin brotherhood,” Origins will have you play as “an Egyptian sheriff, if you like.”

It’s coming out October 27.
