The Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update is coming soon, and we won’t need to wait long to try it out. This will be the game’s biggest update in the past six months, and it will have plenty of content for new players and veterans alike. First, let’s find out when the game goes live.

Arc Raiders Frozen Trail release countdown

The Frozen Trail update will go live on Thursday, Oct. 8. It will release simultaneously on both PC and consoles, and I am not expecting any delays this late. The following countdown will expire once the update goes live.

Hurry Up!

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 2am PDT
  • 4am CDT
  • 5am EDT
  • 9am UTC
  • 10am BST
  • 11am CEST

All previous updates have followed the same schedule in the past, and I am not expecting any changes this late. This is the same schedule Embark will also follow for the free-to-play period when all players will get to enjoy the game without having to purchase it separately.

What to expect from Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update

Given we haven’t had an update for the past six months, Frozen Trail will feature plenty of new content.

  • We are finally getting a new map in the form of Pendola Pass. This will be an Alpine-themed map.
  • A gigantic new boss called Frigate.
  • Three new enemies in Bully, Skulker, and Hydra.
  • A new Raider home called Outpost that allows you to customize it with different modules and embellish the interiors with furniture.
  • New weapons in the form of Stiletto and Bantam. The former is a light-ammo battle rifle that will be an alternative to Renegade. The latter is a snub-nosed revolver that uses heavy ammo to punch a hole through any enemy (and players).
  • Amplified weapons will allow players to add a fifth quality level to their range of guns that will unlock a branching path of abilities and enhancements to your weapons.
  • Two new gadgets in Grappling Hook and Tethers.
  • Photo mode.
  • New instruments.
  • Brand-new rewards pass that will have a free and paid versions.
  • New Collector set DLC
  • Fresh questlines and improvements

Having completed the first two seasons, I am extremely excited about what the future holds for all of us. We will have a fair idea about everything new tomorrow when the update goes live.
