This is an “Amazon Download” update of sorts, as the publisher has just sent word that Sling TV has launched for the Fire TV and Fire Stick.
New apps have also been added, including Telltale’s Game of Thrones series, which is perfectly suited to the platform since you don’t really need any complicated inputs. Amazon also announced that Luftrausers, Always Sometimes Monsters, and OlliOlli are out on the Fire platform, which are some heavy-hitting indies.
All in all I’m not completely loving the Fire TV as a gaming platform, but I use it for videos every day and enjoy it more than the Roku 3.
