ARC Raiders‘ 2.0 update, a.k.a. Frozen Trail, has added Amplification system for weapons, and we have a new way to approach the endgame. This is unofficially the fifth upgrade tier available for most of the available weapons, and it adds a new layer of complexity for us to explore.

In this guide, I will go through all Amplification choices available for every applicable weapon in ARC Raiders.

All Weapon Amplifications in ARC Raiders

15 weapons in ARC Raiders currently have Weapon Amplifications to pick from. Some of them have two options, but few have more. Below, I have listed all available Amplification pathways for every weapon.

Anvil

The Anvil has two choices.

Anvil SplitterEach bullet splits into 4 weaker projectiles
X-RoundsFires Explosive bullets that do more damage to Raiders and ARCs alike.

Aphelion

The Aphelion has four choices.

AmplificationEffect
Bigger MagBigger magazine than standard.
Charged BurstHold to charge and fire projectiles.
Increased BurstMore refined version of the Charged Burst.
Incendiary Rounds+5 burn damage per second and +2 seconds on ongoing burns.

Bettina

The Bettina has three choices.

AmplificationEffect
Bigger MagBigger magazine than standard.
Semi-AutoChanges Bettina to semi-auto.
X-RoundsFires Explosive bullets that do more damage to Raiders and ARCs alike.

Canto

The Canto has three choices.

AmplificationEffect
Carbine ConversionImproves stability and accuracy of the gun.
Incendiary Rounds+5 burn damage per second and +2 seconds on ongoing burns.
Sprint ShootingAllows you to fire the gun while sprinting.

Equalizer

The Equalizer has three choices.

AmplificationEffect
Bigger MagBigger magazine than standard.
Anti-Weak PointDoes more damage to the weak spots of ARCs, but less damage to the outer armor.
Ramping DamageThe damage increases the longer you keep the beam on the target.

Hairpin

The Hairpin has four choices.

AmplificationEffect
Incendiary Rounds+5 burn damage per second and +2 seconds on ongoing burns.
Semi-AutoAdds semi-auto firing.
Sprint ShootingAllows you to shoot while sprinting.
Tracker RoundsReveals locations of target for 5 seconds when you hit them.

Hullcracker

The Hullcracker has two choices.

Mag ReloadIncreases the size of your ammo.
Incendiary Grenades+5 burn damage per second and +2 seconds on ongoing burns.

Il Toro

The Il Toro has two choices.

More ReloadLoads more during reload.
Slug Rounds+5 burn damage per second and +2 seconds on ongoing burns.

Jupiter

The Jupiter has three choices.

Bigger MagBigger magazine than standard.
ScopedAdds a scope.
Straight BoltAllows you to cycle your bolt while ADS is enabled.

Kettle

The Kettle has three choices.

Full-AutoAdds full-auto firing mode.

Osprey

The Osprey has three choices.

AmplificationEffect
Anti-Weak PointDoes more damage to the weak spots of ARCs, but less damage to the outer armor.
Straight BoltAllows you to cycle your bolt while ADS is enabled.
Tracker RoundsReveals locations of target for 5 seconds when you hit them.

Rascal

The Rascal has three choices.

High VelocityIncreased projectile speed.

Rattler

The Rattler has three choices.
