The Hallowed Concepts DLC has added new skins in Risk of Rain 2, and there are plenty of them to unlock. All characters barring Operator and Drifter have received new skins to unlock.
Let’s find out how to unlock all available skins in the game.
How to unlock all Hallowed Concepts skins in Risk of Rain 2
I have divided the following parts into three different categories. There are three different tasks we have to complete to unlock the skins. Each category has six Survivors.
Group A
For this group, we have to defeat the boss in the Soulbound Threshold before the fourth Teleporter event. Here are the Survivors that fall under this category.
- Acrid
- Commando
- Huntress
- Seeker
- Enforcer (part of the new DLC)
- Chef
While the task itself is not that difficult, it can be a bit complicated if you don’t know what needs to be done.
- First, obtain the N’tormat and at least one page. I obtained mine from a random Wake event, but you can also rely on Trials.
- Continue to play until you reach at least Stage Two.
- Once you have the N’tormat, the Shrine of Descent will pop at every stage.
- Activate the shrine and deal with the bosses that spawn.
- Once done, enter the portal, and it will take you to Soulbound Threshold.
- Look for the console in the middle of the map (use the ramps) and then defeat all the bosses until the final one spawns.
- Complete the final boss encounter and collect your rewards and accolades.
When you return to your run, you’ll unlock all the skins that fall under this category.
Group B
For this group, we have to defeat the secret boss of the Soulbound Threshold. It remains hidden behind the large door, and you can take your sweet time with it. Here are the Survivors that fall under this category.
- Artificer
- Engineer
- Bandit
- Captain
- Acolyte
- REX
This task is similar to the previous one but with some distinction.
- Complete all steps from the previous category until you obtain the N’tormat and the reincarnation page.
- Enter the Soulbound Threshold and proceed until you defeat the final boss.
- Go to the central console, and you’ll find a message in the chat that allows you to proceed.
- Now, use the Reincarnation page to open the hidden door.
- Defeat the secret boss at this location and return to your run to get all the new skins.
Group C
For the final group, you have to complete a run with 10 or more Hexes in your control. Here are the survivors that belong in this group.
- False Son
- Loader
- Mercenary
- MUL-T
- Railgunner
- Void Fiend
You can find Hexes from Hallowed Shrines that can spawn after you complete a Teleporter event. You will need to choose Embrace Death to receive all three Hexes. Once you get 10, you can finish your run to unlock the skins.
Skins aren’t the only things to unlock in Hallowed Concepts, since you’ll also want to add Acolyte to your collection as fast as you can.
