To complete the Picture Pursuit: Merlin quest for the larger Picture Pursuit event, you need to find all four Walrus Motifs around the Dream Castle in DDV. Here’s a full breakdown of all steps featured in this quest and where each Walrus can be found.
- Talk to Merlin. To begin this quest, you must find and chat with Merlin in your valley.
- Visit the Dream Castle. Merlin’s scavenger hunt takes place in the Dream Castle, so head to this location next to get going. The Dream Castle can be found right in the center of the Plaza biome.
- Find all four Walrus Motifs. Scour the interior of the Dream Castle to locate all four Walrus Motifs hidden around the area. Each time you find one, equip your Phone to snap a picture with it.
- Return to Merlin. Once you find all four Walrus Motifs around the castle, meet up with Merlin again to report your progress. As soon as you do, the Picture Pursuit: Merlin quest will be complete.
All Picture Pursuit Walrus Motif locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You’ll find four Walrus Motifs hidden around the Dream Castle. They’re scattered across all levels, making them a bit tricky to locate. Here’s the exact location where you can find each one.
- The first Walrus can be found immediately on your left right after entering the Dream Castle. This one is painted on a pillar just near the entrance on the first floor.
- The second Walrus can be found next to Mickey’s secret door on the first floor. To locate this one, enter the Dream Castle, turn right, and proceed through the small gap between the potted hedges. Look for the door with colorful gems forming a flower pattern on it to spot the Walrus Motif on the wall to the right.
- The third Walrus can be found above the doorway that leads to the Stardust Port on the third floor. Enter the Dream Castle, turn left, and walk up the stairs to reach the second floor, where you can find the entrances to the Monsters, Inc., Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast Realms. Then, go up the next set, and look left as soon as you arrive on the third floor. Tilt your camera up to spot this Walrus Motif right above the doorway.
- The fourth Walrus can be found on a pillar all the way up on the top floor of the Dream Castle. To find this one, head up the stairs on your right after entering the building. Proceed all the way to the very top, which is the floor with entrances to the Lady and the Tramp, Inside Out, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, and Hercules Realms. As soon as you reach the top of the staircase, look down to your right to spot the Walrus Motif on the nearby pillar.
