All Marathon Twitch drops and how to get them

Get them before they are gone.

Marathon has a couple of Twitch drops for fans to grab, even if it hasn’t got anything to do with Marathon the game, and you can only get them for a limited time.

From April 11 to April 12, 4:pm PT, you have the chance to grab two specific items related to both Twitch and Destiny 2 by doing specific tasks.

So, let’s not waste your time and jump into what exactly you need to do.

To earn the Marathon Twitch drop rewards, all you have to do is join and watch any streamer participating in the reward scheme for several minutes.

By watching any Marathon stream for 15 minutes, you’ll be rewarded with a Destiny 2 emblem based on Marathon. To get it, you need to make sure your Bungie account is linked to your Twitch account. If it isn’t, you can follow the steps in your inventory the moment you unlock it to have it linked to all your accounts.

If you also subscribe to anyone watching Marathon in the Marathon Twitch directory from April 11 at 7:45 PT to April 12 at 16:00 PT, you’ll also unlock a unique Twitch Badge for a single subscriber. It has to go to a creator, so if you subscribe to the official Marathon Twitch account, it might not work.

Outside of these two items, there is nothing else available through Twitch Drops, and once again, nothing actually for Marathon. For example, the alpha access is not being used as a Twitch drop, with Bungie asking you to do two specific things to get into the alpha and redeem a code, which you can find more details on here.

It feels like a bit of a letdown, honestly, but there’s always the chance that as the game gets closer to its September 23rd release, Bungie might work with creators to offer actual in-game items for those who watch their favorite streamers. So watch this space,e and let’s hope that more Twitch drops get added in the future.
