All items in PEAK and what they do

Information is power.

PEAK has a lot of items, and most of the time, when escaping the fog, it’s hard to know whether to take one or leave it without knowing what effect it gives out, especially when a lot of things can poison or hurt you, instead of aiding you.

So to help everyone out, we have created a list of every item and what it does, so when you find an item you’ve never seen before, you can give the list a quick CTRL+F scan and find out how useful, or unhelpful, it is.

Every item in Peak and how they work

A quick note: we might not have found all items and will update the information as we locate them. We also haven’t listed all food types, as most of them are fairly easy to find. However, we have noted specific foods where they might have an effect, such as poisonous Mushrooms.

On the topic of poisonous mushrooms and finding out if one is poisonous or not, it’s difficult as there are so many different mushrooms available. We tend to avoid them ourselves, for safety.

But anyway, here is a comprehensive guide to each item you can find, and what they do:

LanternMiscCreates a light source and also stops freezing status effects in a small radius.
Bing Bong (Plush)MiscDoes nothing. Required for an achievement.
Bugle (Musical Instrument)MiscUsed for an achievement and getting Winterberry through Capybaras in hot springs.
CompassMiscKeep track of where you’re facing. Mostly useless.
Bugle of FriendshipMisc/LegendaryGives every player infinite stamina when used. Lasts for 10 seconds. Can run out of charge.
Scout EffigyHealingRevives a dead player, one-time use.
Heat PackHealingRemoves Frost damage. Doesn’t stop it from affecting you.
AntidoteHealingCures 14 ticks of Poison
MedkitHealingFull Heals
BandagesHealingHeals for 12 ticks of damage.
Cure-AllHealingRemoves all status effects and heals to max stamina.
Faerie LanternHealing/LegendarySlowly heals all players in a radius. Can run out of charge.
Pandora’s LunchboxHealing/Food/Curse3 uses. Gives random hunger or status effects
Remedy FungusHealingThrown item. Releases spores that heal players of everything.
BlowgunMiscShoots a one-time dart that inflicts heavy lethargy status.
Cursed SkullMisc/LegendaryKills you in return for all nearby teammates reviving, as well as removes all status effects and gives full stamina to everyone else.
Pirate’s CompassMisc/LegendaryPoints to the closest closed luggage case.
Scoutmaser’s BugleMisc/LegendarySpawns the Scoutmaster to chase the player. Gives everyone nearby max Stamina.
Banana PeelMiscPlayers slip on it when stepped on.
Big LollipopFoodInfinite stamina temporarily, when used, after the effect finishes, you are inflicted by lethargy and need to wait to get your stamina back.
MarshmallowFoodBetter cooked. Recovers hunger.
Portable StoveExplorationPlace down a stove that can cook food. Slowly cures freeze status effect. Can’t be picked back up after being placed.
Rope CannonExplorationShoots out an arrow with a rope that falls. The rope is small, though.
Rope SpoolExploration12.5m of rope that can be spun downwards and placed on a rock to help teammates climb.
Anti-Rope SpoolExplorationSame as the above, but the rope goes upwards instead of downwards.
Anti-Rope CannonExplorationSame as the Rope Cannon, but the rope goes upwards instead of downwards.
Chain CannonExplorationLike the Rope Cannon, it fires out an anchor that locks to a wall, but creates a sideways vine-like wire instead.
PitonExplorationCan be placed on walls to recover stamina when climbing, but it can break after extended use.
Shelf ShroomExplorationWhen thrown, it creates a small platform to stand on.
Magic BeanExplorationWhen thrown at the ground, it creates a tall pole structure that’s ladder-like to climb
FoodFoodThere are so many different types of food that all heal you and can be cooked that its hard to note them all.
