Everything is Crab has 21 different Genetics to obtain for players, and each of them has unique boons. The list of choices has significantly increased from the demo, but to enjoy them, every choice has to be unlocked.

How to unlock all Genetics in Everything is Crab

The secret to unlocking the Genetics is locked behind completing different activities. This could be visiting specific locations, killing particular bosses, or just clearing different levels of difficulties (aka Pressure). The table below has all the relevant information specific to every Genetics.

PioneerDiscover any seven Points of Interest. Discoveries across multiple runs also count.
Spawn of ChaosBeat the game on Pressure 5.
PatientDeal 100 or more damage with a single hit. This will be possible only when you’re at the advanced stage of a run.
ExpertSelect five different Specializations.
MinimalistReach 50% size or smaller.
BullseyeUse a stone and then kill any regular boss with it. All regular bosses count, and only one kill is required.
PrecociousDefeat the game on the highest Pressure.
VeganComplete a run without doing any damage. To get this done, you can only consume food items that will be lying on the ground. A single hit on your run will cancel this requirement immediately.
IndependentUnlock any seven branching Evolutions.
SimpleBeat the game on Pressure 10.
PacifistComplete a run at any Pressure.
ChallengerDefeat 50 Alphas. You can complete this task across multiple runs.
ChosenWin a run at any Pressure.
GrandioseReach the size 160% or higher.
PickyReroll 100 times. You can do so on either a single or multiple runs.
Envoy of ChaosPick Spawn of Chaos Genetics and win at Pressure 10.
StubbornBeat the game at Pressure 15.
UnderdogWin Pressure 10 or higher with level 30 or less.
OpportunisticKill the Crabtaur by making it crash into any obstacle. You’ll want it to charge at you. Then, move away at the last second.
HighbornDo 2000 or more damage in a single run.
