Every so often, the Pokopia devs release limited-time events to keep people playing. These special events are only around for a bit, and all of them offer special items you won’t want to miss out on.
Luckily, if you do miss out on any of them, all of these events can be time-traveled to by changing your Nintendo Switch 2’s clock. But if you prefer to play the game as intended, we’ve put together a list of all the events in Pokopia and their dates so you can stay up to speed.
Here’s every event that’s either already been released in Pokopia or is planned, including their dates and a brief description of what they offer.

All events in Pokopia
So far, there have been six limited-time events in Pokopia. More will likely be released in the future, as has been the pattern so far since the game was released, so as they are, we’ll add them here.

| Sableye’s Gem Hunt | April 30 to May 10, 2026 | Similar to the Hoppip event, Sableye sells items in the Pokémon Center in exchange for a new currency called Red Crystal Fragments that can be found on Dream Islands. You can also befriend Sableye and add them to your Pokédex. |
| Wish Upon a Jirachi event | June 23 to July 8, 2026 | Players can complete requests for Pokémon in need to earn shining wish notes, which you can then exchange with Jirachi at any rebuilt Pokémon Center to claim star, sky, and space-themed rewards. Once the event ends, you can also unlock Jirachi. |
Current event in Pokopia
Currently, the Wish Upon a Jirachi event is live in Pokopia. This event runs from June 23 to July 8, offering players precisely two weeks to dive in and collect everything it offers, including Jirachi.
In this event, you need to craft wish notes, give them to Pokémon, and complete their requests to transform the standard wish notes into shining wish notes. Once you have them, this event currency can be spent inside any rebuilt Pokémon center to purchase special Jirachi-themed items.
Next Pokopia event
The next Pokopia event hasn’t been revealed yet, but it won’t release until sometime after July 8, as this is when the current event concludes. Based on the event release schedule so far, though, we likely won’t have to wait too long, as we’ve seen fresh events every month. This means we could get a new one as early as July, perhaps even a few weeks after the current event ends.
