There are different crafting stations in Windrose, and you’ll have to upgrade them on your adventure gradually. When you’re starting, all your stations will be at a basic level. However, crafting/upgrades in the mid and late-game will require you to have higher-level crafting stations.
With each crafting station requiring specific items to upgrade it, let’s find out what you need.
How to upgrade the crafting station in Windrose
Every crafting station in Windrose has a different purpose. Some of them are required to produce and upgrade weapons, while others will help you to sustain yourself (and your allies). Every crafting station requires a specific set of items to upgrade it. The table below mentions every material you’ll need to complete the upgrades.
| Crafting Station | Add-Ons |
|---|---|
| Workbench | Sawhorse Toolbox Tool Shelf |
| Weaponsmith Workshop | Anvil Bellows Water Barrel |
| Armor and Clothing | Material Rack Shoemaker’s Bench Try-on Mannequin |
| Cooking Fire | Cookware Shelf Cutting Table Supplies Rack |
| Alchemy Table | Distiller Reagent Table Stove and Pot |
| Jewelry Table | Jeweller’s Bench Jewelry Cabinet |
All the items mentioned on the table above are add-ons that have to be made through crafting. You’ll unlock their recipes gradually by playing the game (some of the recipes are obtained as part of the quests). The add-ons should ideally be present in the same Bonfire where the crafting station is located.

If you’re just starting, you don’t need to focus too much on upgrading your crafting stations. Chances are that you won’t have the recipes for the add-ons either. However, you’ll be forced to upgrade your crafting stations after a certain point, as most of the advanced recipes will require you to do so. However, you don’t need to rush for the upgrades. As I said, you’ll get all the recipes by simply completing the different quests (main and side) and exploring the map.
