How to unlock more Biomods in Subnautica 2

When you power up the Welcome Center, you get to pick two biomods for free. There’s a total of four different options to choose from. However, you’ll find that there are more slots to equip Passive Biomods.

To get more Biomods, you’ll need to craft the Bioscanner after obtaining its blueprint. You’ll need the following resources.

  • One Scanner
  • Two Enamelled Glass
  • Three Conduit Crystal

To unlock a Biomod, you’ll need to meet its requirements. The exact requirements will vary for each one, and you can meet them by scanning the required items. Unlocking some of the Biomods will be more difficult, but you can eventually get them done by scanning your surroundings.

There were plenty of extra Biomods available during the test that Unknown Worlds has removed. The first major patch is expected to add more options, so make sure to be on the lookout for them.
