While completing dungeons is still the best way to get unique drops in Aion 2, unlocking the many Hidden Cubes across its maps can net you some high-end rewards early on.

Finding them, however, can be tricky — they’re not called hidden just for show. In this guide, we will cover the locations of the Hidden Cubes in the Global version of Aion 2.

The best locations to find Hidden Cubes in Verteron

Although the Verteron map features over one thousand possible Hidden Cube spawn spots, your go-to locations are those with a good spawn chance while also being uncommon enough for most players to miss. For that, we recommend heading to Ellun River Midstream and making your way to the top of the ravine west of it, past Pamos Farm.

Here are the possible hidden cube spawns within the mentioned locations, as revealed by multiple Interactive Maps. Just be warned, most of them are located underwater.

Unlike the Empyrean Traces, the cubes spawn by chance (ultra rare) and are shared among all players within the server, with a new one appearing at a random spawn spot every time an existing one is unlocked.

The best locations to find Hidden Cubes in Altgard

Hidden Cubes can also spawn across over 1 thousand spots in Altgard. We won’t add them all here, though, and instead focus on the possible locations found between Silent Hill and the Tranein Pond areas, crossing both the Fang Hideout and Temporary Retreat hunting grounds. These areas can be accessed early on and feature some of the easiest-to-miss cubes on the map (in my experience).

If you want to go cube hunting in Aion 2, knowing how to acquire the keys needed to open them is a must. After all, nothing feels worse than getting a possible 1/1000 find only to be unable to reap its rewards. Here are all the ways to acquire Hidden Cube Keys:

  • By completing Main Story Episodes, Regional, and Daily Quests
  • As rewards for completing various achievements and reaching new Daeva Pass levels.
  • Via Daily Attendance.
  • By leveling up monoliths around both Altgard and Verteron. Levels one to six reward you with one key per upgrade, while levels seven and eight will net you two, among other rewards.
  • By purchasing it from the Tsenka Merchants (50x Quna / Maximum of 3x Per Day) and A2 Mileage (2.000 Mileage) stores.

Upgrading the monoliths is unlocked automatically as part of your faction’s main story. To get there quickly, don’t forget to also take a look at the best Gladiator build in Aion 2.
