The Gladiator is perhaps the most overpowered class in Aion 2, and it’s equally efficient at clearing both PvE and PvP content. That said, you cannot use a random build and expect the class to work as intended.

In this guide, I will go through what I consider the best build. This has been my starter class for the game, and I have been getting great results with this build.

Best Gladiator abilities in Aion 2

Every class has a host of different abilities to use, and the Gladiator is no different.

First, we will focus on Keen Strike and Rending Blow. Not only are these two abilities excellent in their own right, but you will be able to access them from the very start. They will be your primary tools for leveling up the class and taking it all the way up to level 16.

First, Keen Strike and Rending Blow are two complementary abilities that work well with each other. Both can generate enmity, and Keen Strike helps you recover a lot of MP in the early game stages.

Then, Rending Blow will consume the same MP and amplify your base damage.

As we approach the mid-game stage, Overhead Slam becomes a must-use. We are going to use this ability heavily in our macro rotation. With Overhead Slam, you will have to be precise about its use case. If you spam the ability, you will be wasting it mostly.

Finally, Ruinous Blow is a great finisher to have due to its damage ability. However, it comes with a long cooldown so you need to be mindful about when to use it.

For leveling up your abilities, here’s the formula you’ll want to use.

  • Get Keen Strike and Rending Blow to Level 10.
  • Get Overhead Slam to Level 16 to get the “Remove Cooldown” speciality.
  • Take Rending Blow to Level 16 to enhance MP recovery when you land a Critical Hit.

Best Gladiator Stigma and Passives in Aion 2

Next, we shift our focus first to the Stigma and passive abilities. For Stigma, these are my recommendations.

  • Lunge Stance: Raises your attack speed by 20%.
  • Rage Burst: Not only do you reduce enemy attacks, but you also dish out AoE damage to the enemy.
  • Zikel’s Blessing: Raises you base damage by 20% and accuracy by 100.

Here are my recommendations on the best Passive abilities.

  • Impact Hit: Despite the miniscule chance (3%), you can do double damage when it lands.
  • Experienced Counterstrike: You and your allies with gain front and PvE attack damage upon every successful block.

Best Gladiator Macro setup for Aion 2

With the Macros, you can make your grind significantly easier. For Macros, we will concentrate on just three different abilities: Rage Burst, Overhead Slam, and Rending Blow. This is the trusted combo for almost any Gladiator build in the game.

For the left-click, you can keep Keen Strike as recovering MP will be necessary.
