Nintendo has announced that they’re partnering up with Toys”R” Us to place a “Nintendo department” in the retailers Times Square location in New York City. OK then.

If you’ve ever been to the Toys”R”Us in Times Square, you’ll know that it already has a number of themed areas, for everything from Bionicles to Barbie. Its videogame section is also already very Nintendo-centric, with Wii and Nintendo DS accessories clearly dominating the space versus its competitors.

But this uniquely decorated department will be staffed by specially trained “Nintendo experts” who will be wearing Nintendo-branded uniforms. Hey, this sounds a lot like Nintendo’s Rockefeller Plaza Nintendo World Store! Yeah, the one that’s less than half a mile away from Times Square.

Confirmed: Nintendo fans are lazy.
