Desert Bus makes it to iOS and Android for a good cause

Can’t say I saw this coming. The famously dull yet beloved Desert Bus has made its painfully slow way to the App Store and Android Market. Playing the game on an actual bus is now possible. Dreams can come true.

It might be worth getting just to see the strangers’ reactions when they ask what you’re playing and you respond with an explanation of what Desert Bus entails.

While you’re at it, go give Desert Bus for Hope — a years-old charity event — some much-deserved love. At the cost of some sanity, this group has already brought in nearly $150,000 in donations to Child’s Play. Purchases of iOS and Android versions of the game also support the organization.
