New trailer for Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime

Atari has released a new trailer for Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, the upcoming PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade release from developer Wanako. If you aren’t familiar, they’re the developers behind Assault Heroes and you can see some combat in the Ecto-3 up above along with a selection of pretty cool boss encounters. The subway train monster looks awesome in a low-budget creativity sort of way.

I love dual-stick shooters and I love Ghostbusters. This is pretty much made for me, although I will say that my expectations for such a game probably won’t be met here. If you’re going to make a Ghostbusters game, I have an expectation of a certain style of combat focused on few enemies but requiring technique to trap. This doesn’t look like that.

Doesn’t mean it won’t be a great game, though. I’m optimistic that I’ll enjoy it, since I enjoy just about all games of its type on some level. What do you guys think?
