I actually want to play Shaun White Skateboarding

I haven’t played a skateboarding game since Tony Hawk Underground. Mostly because I couldn’t get behind the move away from arcade-style gameplay into a more open-world design focus. But I became so soured on the genre as a result that I lost all taste for it.

Watching this new trailer for Shaun White Skateboarding is bringing back some of that lust I used to feel for Tony Hawk games. For what it’s worth, Ben Perlee thinks the title has potential. I think I’m in that camp, technicolor skateboard and all. It just looks like fun, which is all I’ve ever wanted anyway.
