Budget dual pack of the Mega Man PSP games incoming

Sigh… Capcom, what are you doing? You slashed the prices of several Mega Man titles on PSN, and now you are releasing a discounted double pack of the two remakes on PSP? What kind of message are you sending us? I am confused!

Recently, GameStop posted a listing for a “Mega Man Dual Pack” to be released on September 5 at $14.99. Shortly thereafter, Capcom Senior Vice President Christian Svensson confirmed that this will be a budget re-release of both Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for the PSP. It’s similar to the value pack that was released some time ago in Japan — both games on separate UMDs, bundled together.

This is certainly a great deal for those who missed out these fantastic games the first time around, but I can’t help but feel like Capcom is toying with our emotions. If we buy enough of these old games, will they start making new ones again? Is this some kind of test? You’re tearing me apart!
