Medal of Honor Limited Edition packs Battlefield 3 beta

All of a sudden the “Limited Edition” version of Medal of Honor just got a hell of a lot more interesting. Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that it will come packed with access to the beta for DICE’s upcoming shooter, Battlefield 3.

What do we know about Battlefield 3? Well, not much. We haven’t even seen the game yet, and I’m pretty sure it’s not even a game that EA has officially confirmed outside of comments from an EA exec back in 2009.

“I’ve had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product,” said former EA chief operating officer John Pleasants.

Want to know more? Let’s cross our fingers that we’ll hear something soon, possibly coming out of gamescom, which takes place next month. Medal of Honor launches on October 12; no word on when the Battlefield 3 beta begins.
