The Jimquisition: Gamers don’t want realistic violence

Recommended Videos

Warning: Video contains footage that some viewers may find disturbing.

This week’s Jimquisition loses a little on the “angry rant” side and gains a little on the “serious business” side. It was filmed in partial response to Leigh Alexander’s “Who Cheers For War?” article, an article that caused something of a stir last week. In it she talked of gamers who want realistic violence. I offer a counter to that.

Aside from erroneously naming Alexander’s column (the perils of unscripted bollocks!), I think this video turned out well. No aspect ratio problems, no camera angles that cut off the top of my head. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. In any case, I hope you like it and I hope you have something to say regarding the issue at hand!
