Street Fighter: Legacy creator wants to do a series

The tremendous short film Street Fighter: Legacy deserves your attention. I know we Internet writers like to promote urgency when it comes to anything and everything we talk about, but this time I really do mean it with complete sincerity.

Joey Ansah spoke with GamePro about his much-loved creation, revealing his intention to create a movie and perhaps even a full-fledged series to serve as an introduction. “Luckily, I have I would say 80 percent of all the characters already cast,” says the director.

Assuming Capcom rolls with the idea, how would he distribute his Street Fighter vision? Xbox LIVE is “the way to go,” Ansah admits. “So you could have maybe these 10-minute episodes that you pay maybe 50 Xbox Points or the equivalent of 50 cents. We would like to try something like that out.”

“That way the fans get to support the movie,” explains producer Jacqueline Quella. Sign me up!
