OFLC gets sneaky, rates EA title ‘Project Red’

The OFLC and Electronic Arts sure are getting sneaky, listing unannounced titles using codenames, leaving us grasping at speculative straws.

Australia’s ratings board recently filed a rating for the mega-publisher’s “Project Red.” The title has received an MA 15+ rating, which means that it probably won’t be appropriate to play in front of your kids or grandparents.

As Joystiq suggests, the title may have something to do with Starbreeze’s “Project Redlime” title. That’s long-rumored to be a reboot of EA’s classic Syndicate series. So basically, there’s a lot of speculating going on here — we haven’t any idea what “Project Red” really is. But considering the rating was filed only a month before E3, it’s likely EA has something to show us soon.
