Anyone here use Media Go? It’s actually a fairly handy little program. You can browse the PlayStation Store quickly and manage your PSP’s content directly from your computer. As of today, a new version with a few important features can be downloaded. Here’s what has been added:
- PC users in the United States with a PlayStation Network account can download videos from the PlayStation Store like TV episodes and standard-def movies. Video content downloaded for rental or purchase can be played on your PC and/or transferred to your PSP
- Media Go can queue up multiple items for download from the PlayStation Store at one time
- PSP users can download games/video content to PC without connecting a PSP (excluding Themes)
- Downloaded content is transferred into each category of Media Go for convenient organization and management
All in all, I’d say this stuff boosts the functionality of Media Go by approximately four-hundred percent. That might be a tad on the hyperbolic side, but seriously, having a download queue is kind of important in the year 2010.
