EA is giving their financial results this afternoon. They report that they shipped seven titles in the 4th quarter that have already sold over 1 million units. But what’s really doing the trick for them is all the sequels that have ‘2’ in the name. Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2 and Dead Space 2 each sold more than two million units.

Another big ‘2’ is Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which sold over seven million units.

EA was the #1 publisher in the western world for this quarter on HD consoles and #1 on PC. they were also the #1 publisher in Europe. Sequel power!
