Microsoft’s X10 event is going on right now here in San Francisco and we just learned that the Halo: Reach beta begins on May 3, 2010. This beta is for the multiplayer mode and anyone that owns Halo 3: ODST will be able to get in on the beta.

The Halo: Reach box art was also shown off today and the picture you see above comes courtesy from one of Geoff Keighley’s ten cell phones.

Halo: Reach is promising to spice up the Halo formula and I’m definitely looking forward to this beta. How about you?

[Update: Added the official box art]
