Hudson is Konami’s April 1st, now a social games arm

Recommended Videos

Worst April Fools’ Day joke ever is Hudson as we know it closing up shop. They become the property of Konami on this day, and they’ll be turned into a social networking division for the company. Also, Hudson Entertainment, the U.S.-based arm of Hudson, will close down at the end of this month.

Konami is hoping to cut some staff at Hudson Japan, says Andriasang. They’re looking for 40 people to go. Those that volunteer will get severance, a bonus, and the hook-up on future job placement.

This all sucks worse than blowing yourself up with your own bombs.
