Guwange. Guwange. Say that ten times!

Guwange is a bit of an odd vertical shooter in that it’s set in Japan’s Muromachi era, which was from the 1300’s to the late 1500’s. It sounds crazy but I know you want to play it. Soon you can, thanks to Cave. They’ve announced today that Guwange will come to Xbox Live Arcade on November 10th, and it will be priced at 800 Microsoft Points, or $10. And this is a North American confirmation, folks.

Expect an arcade port, but you’ll also get two new modes. An Xbox 360 mode is for newbs, and autofires so that they can focus on dodging bullets. On the opposite end of the scale, the “Blue Mode” is super hard, and has only previously been seen at a fan event in Tokyo.
