World of Warcraft: Cataclysm hits shelves December 7

After months of speculation, Blizzard Entertainment has announced today that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will be released on December 7. The game will be available at retail for $39.99, with a digital download version also available from the Blizzard Store. The game’s Collector’s Edition, which comes packed with a slew of awesome stuff you know you totally want, will be only available at retail for $79.99.

You hear that noise? That’s the families and significant others of World of Warcraft players groaning, as holiday plans have now been completely and utterly ruined, thanks to Blizzard.
