This game is out of control. You can freeze demons and punch them into meaty chunks, spin around with scythes in hand, explode onto people, curb stomp, high kick, and probably some other things I wasn’t able to pick up on. The Haunted: Hells Reach is its name, and it won Epic’s Make Something Unreal contest.
The emphasis seems to be on co-op and competitive multiplayer, although single-player is an option too. In some of the modes, you play as an all-seeing demon master who can spawn creatures, place traps, and apparently use lightning to turn everyone into a bloody mess. Rad.
The development team’s goal is to get this on Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC in 2011. Best of luck, boys.
