Archetype on iPhone looks pretty rad

Recommended Videos

A new online first-person-shooter from Villain, Archetype, hit iTunes today for the humble price of $2.99, with none of the “freemium” bullshit that has plagued some other promising iTunes shooters. Villain is asking a straight three bucks, no questions asked, and it’s possible that it could be worth the cash.

This is a game that’s going to rely on support from players, and I’ll be interested to see how it succeeds. Hopefully it does well, as I wouldn’t mind picking this up myself if the community’s there to keep it sustained. What do you reckon? Looking good at all?
