Red Dead short film now viewable online in its entirety

No one can blame you for missing the John Hillcoat-directed Red Dead Redemption short film, based on when and where it originally aired. Now that it’s viewable in full on the Internet, though — worth a look, especially if you have no intention of playing the game.

By pure luck, I happened to catch the first ten minutes or so of it on TV. I didn’t watch the full thing, and here’s why: much of it is comprised of repurposed in-game cut scenes. Having already beat Red Dead Redemption, I didn’t feel particularly inspired to continue watching.

For all I know, a bunch of crazy sh*t goes down at the eleven-minute mark. For anyone who’s seen the whole short film and thinks I should catch the rest, by all means, hit me with a passionate reply.
