I think of all the 3D action-brawlers to have come out in recent memory, this is the most fun. It’s uber-stylish and has a combo system that can offer a lot if you can master its timing. More importantly, it doesn’t take itself seriously at all, which is a wonderful change of pace from the brooding characters and dark overtones so frequently seen in games of its type.

For those 360 users who haven’t tuned out already, I would point out that 1-year Xbox Live Gold subscription cards are currently priced at $34.99 if you feel the need to save a little cash today. It isn’t as time-sensitive, but don’t wait too long or you’ll miss your chance.
