Suggestive eating GO! Record of Agarest War launches

The time has come, gamers, for you to prove your sense of shame – or lack thereof. Record of Agarest War is arriving on store shelves (digital and physical) right now, courtesy of Aksys Games.

Agarest War features suggestive event scenes, truly incredible marketing, and a “Soul Breeding” system that allows players to court a bride and continue their heroic lineage over five generations. Boasting more than a hundred hours of play, this is no short war.

Oh, and it’s a complex, layered strategy RPG set in an expansive world of hope and despair, to boot. Spirits are definitely high at Aksys, and it’s best left to them to describe this epic moment:

“As the release of Record of Agarest War nears, spirits are high here,” says Ben Bateman, Localization Editor, Aksys Games, struggling to be heard over a scene reminiscent of the end of Return of the Jedi. “The discs have been pressed, the mousepads fully tested, and the downloads uploaded. We feel confident that this game is poised to bring happiness to untold thousands. Candidly, anyone who does not feel elation at our impending release may have lost the capability to do so.”

Go forth and boldly pick up the shame-inducing (yet blatantly better) Xbox 360 version, or download the PS3 version off the PlayStation Network now. DO IT.

Oh, and it should be noted that the PS3 version is less expensive, weighing in at just $44.99 versus $60 for the 360 limited edition. If you own a PS3 and are friendly to hefty download titles, keep that in mind.
