F.E.A.R. 3 was announced yesterday, so today we received a new trailer from Warner Bros. that gives a hint of what’s to come. As you might expect, it’s a lot of Alma giving birth followed by that stupid, stupid logo they’ve designed for the title.
The trailer is also almost all live-action sequences. There are some very brief flashes of gameplay footage in the closing moments but this one seems to be all about the trauma of pushing a demon child out of the womb. That thing looks pretty eager to escape. I wonder if hijinks will ensue?
The trailer actually reminds me of some of the ones we’d see come out of Japan for the Biohazard series. Do you like this style of trailer, or would you prefer a stronger focus on what we’re actually going to play instead of what our suspension of disbelief allows us to imagine?
