Lara Croft bundles up for awesome, pricey statue

Despite the fact that Tomb Raider Underworld was released back in 2008, Sideshow Collectibles is still planning on releasing a polystone statue of that game’s version of Lara Croft. And if I do say so myself, it’s pretty awesome.

Called “Snow Day,” the statue depicts a bundled up Croft taking a moment away from looking at her treasure map to look up and say “Hey, have you got $260 burning a hole in your pocket for some of this?” Yes, this statue will cost $259.99 when it’s released, and will come with a limited edition print by artist Adam Hughes. Don’t want the print? The statue alone will run you $249.99.

Again, I’ll admit this is pretty awesome, but at this price, it’s for true collector’s only. I guess that why the company is called Sideshow Collectibles, amirte?
