New Dreamcast game looks old-school, fun

Maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy. It has been a decade this week. I seem to remember Dreamcast games looking a bit better than the soon-to-be-released Rush Rush Rally Racing. To be fair, the game makers say that they’re focused on retro game play rather than high-resolution realistic graphics. That’s okay — I loved R.C. Pro-Am on the NES!

The folks at Senile games noticed that it was Dreamcast week here on Destructoid, so they sent along details on Rush Rush Rally Racing. Senile Team and Red Spot Games (page crashed due to traffic) are bringing this new game to the Dreamcast in October, they say. When Red Spot fixes their page, this link will take you to a page where you can pre-order the title for $22. RRRR contains 10 courses and 3 multiplayer modes for up to four players. Judging from the trailer, it looks pretty fun.

I think it’s cool that they’re trying to sell a Dreamcast game after all of these years. Dreamcast fans, are you interested in this title?
