Battlefield Heroes reaches the one million players mark

To celebrate the success of its free-to-play third-person shooter Battlefield Heroes, EA has pumped out a new trailer that sets up the story behind the game. Apparently, the reason behind the Royals vs. Nationals conflict was an incident of alleged cheating during an Olympic track cycling event.

The supposed cheats, of course, made a mockery of the King’s mustache. I’m not making this up — go watch the trailer if you don’t believe me. I found it to be reminiscent of the intros to some of my favorite childhood cartoons. In other words, it’s totally radical, dudes.

And for those who have yet to delve into Battlefield Heroes, I think the general consensus around these parts is that the game isn’t without its flaws, but it is still worth playing.
