How to find and accept SHADOW briefings in Fortnite

It may confuse some players.

Fortnite‘s Week 7 Quests are here, and one particularly confusing challenge tasks you with finding and accepting SHADOW briefings. If you know what these are, then this Quest is simple, but if you don’t, it can prove tricky. That’s why I’m here to explain what this means, and what you need to do.

The Week7 Quests went live on April 23, just hours after the launch of the Fortnite 29.30 update. Thankfully, most of this week’s challenges are relatively simple, but if any are going to cause you trouble, it’s this one.

How to find SHADOW briefings in Fortnite

Finding SHADOW briefings in Fortnite is really simple, as while the name may be confusing, they are actually bounties.

These bounties can be found in named locations across the map, and are computer screens with red and orange target symbols on them. If you don’t know where to get them from, Fortnite.gg has a handy map that shows their locations.

How to accept SHADOW briefings in Fortnite

To accept a SHADOW briefing, simply walk over to one of these screens, and accept the bounty that comes up. You don’t actually need to complete the bounty for it to count, just accept it and it will count.

You’ll need to do this eight times for this week’s challenges, but if you can complete the bounty, you’ll earn some Gold Bars as reward too, which could be worth the effort if you want to buy the help of NPCs or some weapons.
