E3 09: Blizzard: Starcraft II may release this year… maybe

Recommended Videos

On yesterday’s Activision pre-E3 conference call, Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime made his token appearance as the guy from the company who makes all of the money. During the call he revealed that plans were on-track for Starcraft II to be released in 2009. He then went on to comment that this is still subject to change, which could be taken to mean that Starcraft II might be delayed until 2010.

Jesus, why bother? Either announce that you’re working on the game and it’ll be done when it’s done (which is what Blizzard always really means anyway) or just give us a realistic date. If that’s 2012, fine, but it’s an evil slut who gets you all hot and bothered then keeps teasing your erection with no hole for years.
