Rumortoid: Lime Green DS Lite, LostWinds 2 coming [update]

Today we have two Nintendo-related rumors, both courtesy of our friends over at GoNintendo.

The first sounds a bit strange to me. Apparently a GameStop insider told GoNintendo that a new bundle was coming our way for Mother’s Day. It’s a Lime Green DS Lite and Personal Trainer: Cooking bundled together. Great. Nothing says “I love you” to mom like an outdated game system and a not-so-subtle hit that she could learn to cook a bit better. No DSi, Nintendo? Moms like low-resolution photos too!

The second rumor says that LostWinds 2 will be revealed at E3 this year. This comes by way of LiveWii, who says they heard it from a “source.” While the source doesn’t sound very solid, we will remain hopeful, as the first stands as one of the best WiiWare titles out there.

This makes me think of something: if you’re still thinking about Mother’s Day, forget the old tech DS Lite bundle and gift your mom LostWinds!

[update: the bundle is real. They hit stores May 3rd, and will also include a cute little clutch, colored in white with lime green swirls. Mom’s going to love it. Just don’t show her your DSi.]
