It’s been a little over a year since Bear and Breakfast made its debut on PC. It first hit Steam on July 28, 2022, with a Nintendo Switch port following on September 15, 2022. The game’s PlayStation Store page is now live with the ability to add to wishlists. Armor Games Studios shared a new trailer to go along with the update.

Bear and Breakfast has made a name for itself and garnered very positive reviews on Steam for many reasons. First of all, its art direction is just as adorable as its concept, which is exactly what the title implies. You play a bear who is attempting to run a bed and breakfast in the middle of the forest, eventually turning an abandoned shack into a one-stop tourist destination. You can personalize the heck out of your cozy inn, from gathering basic resources to choosing and placing furniture and fixtures.

As detailed in a recent message, the team at Gummy Cat has been through quite a lot lately. Art director Ioana Șopov was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, so the team has rallied together to focus efforts on her treatment and well being. As a result, an upcoming expansion has been delayed.

The team is clearly grateful for everyone’s continued support, and frankly it’s amazing that the game is coming to PlayStation so soon under these circumstances. We wish them all the best and hope they take the time they need to continue prioritizing their health above all else.
