How to increase storage and inventory space in My Time At Sandrock

How to expand your pockets

Considering every piece of garbage that you walk by in My Time at Sandrock automatically gets sucked right into your very being, you’re going to run out of inventory space very quickly. Thankfully, it isn’t difficult to get more room.

Stop right now. You’re overthinking it. You probably imagine that there’s some sort of backpack you need to craft or skill you need to unlock. That’s how it typically is in crafting games such as this. However, the truth is much, much simpler.

Go into your inventory and look at your cluttered grid of items. Depending on your resolution, you may need to switch to the next page. Eventually, you’ll see a plus (+) symbol where trash should be. Well, okay, it’s more like a plus symbol with a broken arm. Whatever. When you click on it, you’ll be prompted to increase your inventory space. At first, this will cost you 10 gol per slot, but after buying so many, this price will increase to 20 gol. You can probably guess this, but the more you buy, the more it will cost.

If you just can’t get ahead of the landfills in your pockets, then there’s an alternative. You can build various storage boxes, including the mini storage box and wooden storage. Once you have one of these built, you can use them to dump all the stuff that you don’t use very often. Like, I don’t know, cactus quills or gold.

Or maybe you can figure out an organizational system that works for you and your inventory. Goodness knows it’s complete anarchy in my pockets.
