STALKER 2 Cost of Hope DLC is now available on PC and consoles, and we have a fresh campaign to go through. The new campaign is a separate experience if you want to focus purely on the DLC.
In this guide, I will be going through a complete walkthrough. I have broken the walkthrough into all the main missions.

STALKER 2 Terra Incognita quest guide
Terra Incognita is the first DLC mission to complete. I have opted for early start to get the complete experience.
Get to the Slag Heap
The Slag Heap can be found to the northeast from where you begin your adventure. Go through the security door and turn right (just follow the marker) to enter the location.
There, you’ll find Misha Boxer and Grisha Wrestler, who will be ready to share their tales. You can accept a side quest from them, but your main task is to find the Stalker who’s been to the Iron Forest.
Find the Stalker who’s been to the Iron Forest
You’re looking for an NPC called Chatterbox. To find him, go left from the entrance and turn right. You’ll find Chatterbox. To make him share the tales about the Iron Forest, you’ll have to share three bottles of beer.
He will then disclose two different routes for you to enter the Iron Forest. Which route you pick is insignificant. I went with the first option, which is to check the IPSF Checkpoint.
Check the IPSF Checkpoint
When you arrive at the IPSF Checkpoint, you’ll find several mutants attacking the outpost. You have to help the soldiers by killing the mutant. Be careful about the invisible one because it can kill you. Look for cover and don’t run out of ammo.
At this stage, you complete Terra Incognita and one of the steps of the Dead or alive side quest.
STALKER 2 Dead or alive side quest guide
The Dead or alive is one of the two side quests you have to complete as part of the DLC. Once you fight IPSF fight off the mutants, speak with Captain Vusatyi. He will task you with finding the members of his squad.
Find traces of the IPSF squad near the stash
The squad is located to the northeast from the IPSF checkpoint. Go all the way until the wall ends and you’ll find the entrance. Here, you’ll find several raiders, so be careful.
Kill the raiders, and look for the tunnel entrance near the canal, and make your way through it inside the wall. There will be a bunch of rats and toxic fumes, so have some meds for radiation in your hand.
When you come up to the surface, you’ll speak with a couple of soldiers who’ll point you to the Freedom Camp. You’ll also find the surviving IPSF squad at the same location.
STALKER 2 Step into the Unknown quest guide
The first two steps of this quest will be done earlier when you had helped the IPSF to fight the mutants during the Terra Incognita quest. When you reach Freedom Camp, you’ll find that the soldiers are pinned down by mutants.
Kill as many as you can, and you can then speak with Harpoon to open the camp. Inside, you’ll meet Zulu, who will save you from a mutant. This completes the Step into the Unknown quest.
Speak with Pvt. Panchenko and he will hand you a PDA. This will task you with reaching the Monitoring Spot (part of the Dead or alive side quest).
STALKER 2 Unexpected Alliance quest walkthrough
Take all the resources from the Freedom Camp and then find Nitro. You can find him in near the power station. He will task you to find the Repeater. Reaching the Repeater requires you to practice your parkour skills.
Once you reach and interact with the Repeater, it will release a ghostly spirit. Shoot it down and interact with the Repeater once more to get it up and running. Speak with Nitro once more, and he will send you to the Chief.
There will be a bunch of raiders outside, where you find the Chief. Once you speak with him, he will ask you to find Mavka at the vehicle workshop.
When you find her, it will trigger a mammoth wave of mutants. Kill all of them to save Mavka and then return to Kurin.
