Unfinished build of Merchants of Brooklyn accidentally released

Recommended Videos

Remember how only two days ago Merchants of Brooklyn was released on Steam? Turns out, the Alpha version of the game was inadvertently let out and was what many of you experienced, rather than the finished product.

I understand that M.O.B. was made by an independent studio, and that mistakes do happen, but how did this one slip through? I’m just as puzzled as the rest of you here.

For what it’s worth, the necessary fixes have since been made and the correct version of the game is now up on Steam. The developers also made it clear that they “will be patching this game periodically to correct any issues that arise, as well as new and exciting features and multiplayer modes!”

Talk about an unlucky game debut …
